God Promises a New Heart and Forgiveness – Ezekiel 36:26

God promises a new heart and forgiveness Ezekiel 3626

If you ask me, one of the best and most practical gifts God offers his faithful followers is a new heart. This isn’t some mystical trick of the magician, it’s a gift of sovereign grace that requires no human effort. The good news is that you can receive a new heart in no time at all.

There are several key points to take away from Ezekiel 36. In this passage, Ezekiel outlines the main features of the new heart. These include the creation of a new self and a new attitude toward God. For a man to be able to give his old heart to God, he needs to be willing. However, a new heart cannot be given to a man who is unwilling to reform.

Ezekiel makes twenty-five mentions of the Holy Spirit. He also speaks about the “heavens” and the “mimos” of the new heart. His description of the “new spirit” is more than just a poetic evocation of what it is like to be a part of the holy tribe of Israel. It is a foretaste of what the end times will bring for Israel.

Having a heart that is willing to repent and forgive others isn’t an easy feat. When the demons have left the scene, the “new heart” will work from the inside out. Interestingly enough, the process is as effective as turning a stone into flesh. Nevertheless, if you think that you can get a new heart just by laying a little more effort into your life, you are wrong.

A new heart is the stuff dreams are made of. It’s the one thing that will truly change your life. But to see it in action, you must first believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. And, you’ll also have to have faith in God raising him from the dead. You will then have a bountiful harvest.

God can save you from the pitfalls of sin. This is a testament to the sovereignty of God, as well as his concern for his name and the reputation of his chosen people. During the captivity of the Babylonians, Jews were restored from idolatry and were cleansed of the evil practices that had plagued them for so long.

God is a good and faithful God. He will never give up on anyone willing to change their lives for his glory. Rather, he will allow them to be transformed into the likeness of His own image. As a result, they will become one of the most revered people on earth.

This is not just a prophecy of the end times, but of the New Covenant. In this passage, Ezekiel foretells a time when every believer will be a part of the kingdom of God. To get to this place, you must be willing to receive the heavenly gifts of the Holy Spirit.
