Remember That God Cares About You – 1 Peter 5:7
The Apostle Peter wrote this letter late in his life to encourage those who were facing persecution for their faith. He was no stranger to persecution because he had experienced it himself as a disciple of Jesus.
This passage is a powerful reminder that our trials are temporary and God will bring them to pass. He will sustain us and provide for our needs.
What is more, the Bible is filled with examples of God caring for His people even when they are in pain. Here are just a few to help you see that the Bible is full of God’s promises and cares for His followers:
Confirmations of God’s Love
When we have been hurt and prayed for healing, God will often show up in ways that confirm that He is with us and that He is at work in our lives. He can do this through big and small things, such as a blessing you received, an answer to a prayer, or an encounter with a friend who has shared how God has cared for them in their time of need.
You are of infinite value to a God who loves you more than anything else on this planet. He risked everything to save you, and because of His sacrifice you have eternal hope. This is the most significant reason why God cares about you and will not leave you.
