One Way – John 14:6 (Hillsong Worship)

John 14:6 NIV Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

We live in a world where many people are looking for a “good” way to get to heaven or to God. They want to know the best path that is easy and understandable. They may also think that their accomplishments, personal virtue, or the good deeds they do are all that matters to get to heaven.

But the truth of this verse is that salvation comes only through Jesus, and not through any rituals or accomplishments. Rather, it is the blood of Jesus that has given us forgiveness of sins and reconciliation to God (John 3:15;)

Having been regenerated through the Holy Spirit, our spiritual journey is to find our way back to the Father by trusting Jesus as our Savior and Lord. During this time in our life, we are called to prepare ourselves for the next phase of our life, and to live out our faith by being Christ’s witnesses.

The Bible is full of life-giving words that remind us of how to live as Christians and to find our place in the universe. We are to love others, to be faithful to God, and to follow the example of Christ.

In this passage from the Gospel of John, Jesus declares Himself to be the only way, the truth, and the life. He is the Co-Creator of everything, and he brings eternal life to all who believe in him.
