Bible Reading Lamentations 3:25 - God Is Good All The Time

Bible Reading Lamentations 3:25 says “The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him.” The author of the book of Lamentation says, “God is good all the time!” At this time, Jerusalem had just been destroyed by the Babylonian king, Nebuchadnezzar. The king of Judah, Zedekiah, was blinded and thousands of people had been exiled to Babylon. The people were starving, dying, and eating children to survive. It was a horrible time to be alive, and the writer was living it.

The Bible tells us that God is good all the time. It says that God created everything from nothing and that he was pleased with the results. The Garden of Eden and everything on earth was perfect, and the universe spun perfectly. When the light came into the world, everything changed. We now live in the perfect reflection of His goodness. We are the reflection of His goodness and He will continue to be. So why does God allow evil to ruin the world?

The Bible shows us God’s goodness in broad strokes. All people experience dark moments, and we may even question God’s goodness. Yet, even though Satan caused Job’s troubles, God did not answer Paul’s prayer to remove his thorn in the flesh. And when Jesus suffered on the cross, all of this demonstrates that God is good all the time. We may be suffering, but we are still in the presence of God.

Bible Reading – 2 Biblical Truths Why God Is Good All the Time?

Why is God good all the time? God is light. There is no darkness in Him. That’s a basic concept of what God is. We can see this in the Bible, which opens with four powerful words: “And there was darkness, and darkness was over the face of the deep.” Before the light appeared, the Bible states, “There was light.” That is to say before God created light, there was no life.

The second strand of goodness definitions concentrates on the action. In the Bible, descriptions of God’s goodness point to steadfast love, generosity, and kindness. Because God has infinite power, He is generous to us, and we are the object of His affection. We must remember that the heart of God expresses itself through action. The same goes for the nature of good. We can’t expect the world to be without suffering, and God has made us in His image.

There are many verses in the Bible where God declares Himself to be all good. First John says that God is light and cannot do anything contrary to nature. His goodness cannot be matched by evil. It is impossible for God to do anything bad. In fact, the Bible teaches that God is all good and that it will happen. However, the question remains: Where in the Bible does God state that He is all-good?

Another part of this definition focuses on actions. The Bible is full of descriptions of God’s goodness. In the Book of Job, we find that God gives us the gift of repentance, the commitment to become like Him and seek forgiveness from Him. The Bible teaches that God is all-good and that His goodness abounds. We cannot judge the goodness of God by His actions alone, but our actions reflect our attitude towards Him. To God be the glory Amen
