Book of Esther in the Bible: 3 Life-Changing Lessons We Can Learn From it. Whether you are a young woman or an adult, the Book of Esther has life-changing lessons for us. Even though the book of Esther may seem chaotic, God’s hand is in the mix, ensuring that everything turns out beautifully. This story is meant to bless today’s Christian women and strengthen their faith. Listed below are 10 life-changing lessons we can learn from Esther.
Esther used her influence and power to bring about a positive outcome
There are several lessons we can learn from the story of Esther, the queen of Persia. As a queen, Esther used her influence to bring about a positive outcome. Instead of asking the king to choose sides, she prayed and fasted for three days and approached the king only after she’d consulted God. As a result, she was able to save her people and receive the greatest reward. And in doing so, many became followers of God and began to follow Jesus as their savior.
The story of Esther is important to the Jewish people today because it teaches us to be wise in our dealings with others. It shows us that it is possible to overcome fear. While it is never easy to risk failure, it’s important to remember that taking risks is often the best way to achieve your dreams. For example, there are risks that may cost you your job, but if you take the risk, the reward will be great.
Queen Esther was a good leader. She trusted God and her advisor, Mordecai. She put the needs of her people before her own. This was a great example of humility and service to others. While we may be tempted to look at Esther as a model of pragmatism, we must not forget that she was a woman of faith and that she put her faith in God above her own selfish desires.
Haman, who was a descendant of Agag, a king of the Amalekites, was promoted by the king. Everyone was to bow to Haman, but Mordecai’s refusal to do so filled Haman with rage. His ultimate goal was to destroy the Jews of the kingdom. This incident taught us that it is possible to overcome the evil in our lives.
Haman was a proud man. His wealth was immense and he had numerous sons. His position in the king’s court was so high that he was able to elevate himself above the nobles and officials. Haman was also ambitious and focused on pursuing more than he had. He was unable to make a decision based on his own desires, and his ambitions would eventually lead him to failure.
She used her influence and power for justice
In the Bible, Esther is an excellent example of how a woman can use her power and influence to pursue justice. While she may not have been the first to use this power and influence, she does make sure to keep her Jewish identity secret. Here are some of the ways she used her power to achieve justice. In addition, she is an effective mediator between God and her oppressors. Read Esther 4:15-17 to see more examples of how she used her influence and power for justice.
As queen of Shushan, Esther enjoyed a high social status. As such, she could have chosen to remain away from the troubles of her people, but she chose to intervene and risk losing her position in the royal court. By speaking out against Haman’s plans, she managed to persuade the king to intervene. Her brave actions prevented the Jews from being killed. She was an activist for justice.
After the murder of Mordecai, the king realizes that the Jews have been under the rule of Haman for many years. These hasty and cruel people often take advantage of weak leaders. Esther is aware of this and uses her position and power to bring justice to her people. She approaches the King and demands justice for Mordecai. This gives her the right to be proud of her accomplishments.
Similar to Jesus at his birth, Esther identifies with humanity and sacrifices her position and life to fight for justice. The act of identifying with the people opens her heart to God’s purposes. She sacrifices her life, position, and possessions in service of justice. However, her high position is not without risk – it becomes a source of service to her people. It’s amazing how she risked her life to help others in need.
Despite her position, Esther remains subject to the oppressive system of her time. Even when she enters the palace of King Ahasuerus, she doesn’t seem to be interested in God’s plan. In fact, God is never mentioned in this book. But when she comes into conflict with Mordecai, Haman, Ahasuerus’ highest official, plots to kill him and the Jewish people.
She used her influence and power for good
The Book of Esther is full of lessons for us to learn about being obedient. We can learn from the story of Esther, who saved the Jewish nation from genocide and acted in obedience to a heavenly presence. She was well prepared for the worst possible outcome and presented this obedient practice to others. Even though she did not know what the king would do, she acted in direct obedience to God and saved her nation.
Even though God’s name does not appear in the Book of Esther, we can find God’s fingerprints on every page. Esther trusted God to do the right thing for her people and sought Him in prayer. When her parents died, God was with her. When she was raised by her uncle, God was with her. Even though she was a Jew, she was a beautiful woman, which meant she was an exceptional candidate for the throne. God arranged every detail of her life for His glory.
Although the Book of Esther is chaotic and confusing, God is always present and makes things come together in a beautiful way. We can learn from the Book of Esther by studying the story in a positive way. It is meant to empower Christian women today, and the lessons found within are worth pondering. This book has a special place in the Bible and it can even strengthen our faith.
King Ahasuerus, the author of Esther, was a drunken man who had thrown a lavish banquet for his wife. The king demanded that the queen come to the banquet, but Queen Esther overheard two guards plotting to kill him. She told the King, allowing Mordecai to take credit for protecting the king. The two guards were executed.
Esther’s story is important for recognizing the importance of perseverance. The Jewish people were under attack by Haman and he wanted them safe. King Esther was very concerned for the safety of his people and ordered Haman to be hanged. However, the fate of Esther’s people was not as clear-cut. As the Book of Esther illustrates, we can use the lessons of the Jewish people in our lives.
