We are more than conquerors through Christ who strengthens us. Romans 8:37 NIV As the apostle Paul explained in his second letter to the Corinthians, The phrase “more than conquerors” is an aphorism, referring to God’s mighty power to save the ungodly. And that’s the real point: God loves us more than we love ourselves! And if we can overcome the world, we can conquer our own personal sins!
Throughout the ages, people have had to fight and die in order to advance in the Kingdom of God. Defeating the enemy meant not only gaining new territory but also bringing back the spoils of war. Soldiers would carry home gold and silver that had been taken from the enemy. But as the Kingdom of God expanded, the resources used to conquer the enemy became resources that bowed down to the King’s Kingdom. Hence, Paul says, “we are more than conquerors through Christ who has loved us.”
This statement seems illogical from the earthly perspective. In our case, however, we are conquerors in all things through Christ. This is because the Lord has made us more than conquerors through his Son, Jesus. And that means that we are now more than conquerors in the kingdom of God. The victory is ours, and we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. In all these things, we are more than conquerors through God’s love for us.
The Bible tells us that God has done many amazing things in the past. The Jordan River was opened for the Israelites, and God knocked down the walls of Jericho before Joshua. Because of God’s encouragement and love, Joshua was a conqueror. His disciples also overcame fear. The apostle’s Peter and John were used by God to do a notable miracle. The disciples were arrested for their faith in Jesus.
When we look forward, we have to be ready for the next trial. As Christians, we may find it hard to think beyond our trials, but we are not alone. In fact, God understands that it can be difficult to look ahead, but he has left us with encouraging words. During our trials, God gives us the strength to endure, and we can carry ourselves as more than conquerors. By doing this, we can be sure that we are more than conquerors in Christ.
This verse also has the meaning of “being more than a conqueror”. When we put our faith in Jesus Christ, we become co-heirs of the Kingdom of God and we are more than conquerors of death and the grave. As a result, we are more than conquerors of sin and the world. And in all of these things, we are more than conquerors through God’s love.
We are more than conquerors through God’s love. The bible proves that God loves us through the sacrifice of his Son. We are more than conquerors through the love of God. This is a profound truth that we can all take to heart. We can be sure of this because we are not only more than conquerors in Christ, but we have won the victory of the enemy.
When we take control of our minds, we have the power to control our destiny. We can influence our lives by thinking and believing that God will do whatever is necessary for our happiness and success. In all these ways, we are more than conquerors in the kingdom of God. And victory is just a thought away.
Conclusion

If you’ve read Romans, you’ve likely heard the phrase, “We’re more than conquerors.” What does that mean? It means that you’ve learned how to deal with the problems of life and have learned to live with confidence. A more than conqueror knows that God loves him and will not let his weaknesses overcome him. He also doesn’t fear bad news or unexpected circumstances. He also doesn’t get devastated by failure or disappointment.
