God Promises Guidance
Proverbs 3:5-6 states that “God will guide your paths.” This is a very important and often overlooked piece of wisdom. The truth is, we can never find a better guide than God.
What a great promise that He will always be by your side, no matter where you are or what you are going through! This is a very important promise for both adults and children to keep in mind.
How often are you walking through life and unsure what direction to go? It can be incredibly frustrating. I’m sure we can all relate to this feeling, especially as a parent.
You want to make the right decisions and live a life that is pleasing to the Lord. You also want to avoid making mistakes that will impact your future.
Ultimately, you want to lead a life that honors the Lord and shows your children how to do the same. As a parent, you want to teach them the Word of God, to exemplify His love and principles to them, and to show them how to walk in their own strengths and weaknesses.
The best way to do that is by spending time in prayer and reading the Bible every day. This helps you to become able to listen for the voice of the Lord in your everyday life.
In addition, spending time in the Word can help you to become a better student of the Word and can give you a deeper understanding of what it says. It can also help you to hear from God on the things that are most important to you.
