It is one thing to learn about God while sitting in church; it is a different story when you’re losing a loved one, having a job disappear, or even your marriage crumbling. There are some lessons in life that are only learned through storms.

Jesus’ command to calm the storm demonstrated His authority over nature. His disciples were amazed. They questioned whether the storm was natural or demonic. Yet, they didn’t realize that Jesus had power over nature. It was His words that calmed the storm. As Christians, we can also apply this principle to storms in life.
