Survive Through It All – Psalm 27:13-14

Psalm 27 is a prayer to God for help and protection. The psalmist has been troubled by evil and false witnesses and is asking for God’s presence. He is confident that the Lord will keep him. He also asks for Divine guidance and favor, and that God will teach him more about life.

God is a great friend and better than any earthly parent. However, sometimes the troubles that come our way are too overwhelming. We need to fix our hearts on God, no matter what the situation.

As a result, faith and hope in God can keep us from despair and fainting. It is true that even the best saints often faint at times. But it is possible to survive under all the calamities. By fixing our minds on God and trusting in his goodness, we can live a life that pleases him. And in time we will be able to walk in the path of goodness.

A life of godliness is profitable to all things. In addition to the promise of life in the afterlife, the promise of eternal life here on earth is another assurance of life. Therefore, a person can live a life that pleases the Lord and be a testimony to others of the power and goodness of God.

David prayed for God’s protection and for a way to avoid being like the wicked people who do not have a relationship with him. When David waited for the Lord, he felt that God was always on his side. His fears and anxiety were calmed by the knowledge that the LORD would protect him.
