Do it all in the name of Jesus is one of the most used verses in the Bible. This phrase is a command and therefore needs obedience. Because it says to submit to the Lord in everything. When you do this, you’re setting aside the desires of the flesh and any pride you might have. It’s a clear demonstration that you believe that Jesus is Lord. If you act in a selfish or proud way or speak in bitterness, it’s because you’re putting someone or something other than Jesus in control.
Colossians 3:17 NIV says “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
This verse is very important because it shows us that living the life of Christ is the most important thing we can do. It reminds us that we are to do everything in the name of the Lord. We must do our best to live our lives in the name of the Lord Jesus. Whether you’re doing chores, exercising, or simply going to work, remember to do it all in the name of Jesus! Do it all in the spirit of Jesus!
When we live our lives in the name of Jesus, we should always act in the name of the Lord. That’s why we can’t do anything without the Lord’s consent. In our lives, we should always do what we know is right and what makes us happy. Then, we should not dwell on what others think of us. Do it all in the word of Jesus. So, do it all in the name of Jesus.
In every area of your life, do everything in the name of the Lord. Your actions should always be done in the name of the Lord. In your daily life, you should thank God for all the blessings that you receive. The Bible also teaches us to be grateful for the things that God has given us in our lives. It can help you live a richer life and grow closer to God. And, by doing it all in the name of the Lord, we can do whatever we can.
The Christian must kill self-centredness. His will must be transformed. In other words, he must put himself in God’s will. As a result, the Christian must live a life that is completely devoted to the Lord. In addition, he must give his life to God. This will ultimately lead to his eternal happiness and fulfillment.
