For we live by faith not by sight – 2 Corinthians 5:7

The Bible calls believers to “walk by faith” rather than by sight. This means that we must live with a resolve to obey God even when it seems impossible.

When the world attempts to convince us to do something that is against God’s law, we must remember that we are following our inclination and not God’s plan for our lives. This can be a struggle, but it is vital to walk by faith and not by sight.

It is also important to note that when you walk by faith, the people around you will often try to make you look foolish because they do not understand what you are doing. That is why it is important to be persistent and to follow the convictions of the Spirit in your life.

Hebrews tells us that Moses, despite all the trials of his life, kept his faith because he knew and loved God. He knew that he could not see the things of God, but only believe them because they were revealed to him by God’s Word. The same is true for David who kept his faith despite all the trials of his life.
