John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Dear Heavenly Father,
In the midst of a chaotic and troubled world, I come before you seeking your peace. I know that true peace can only be found in you, and I cling to your promise of peace found in John 14:27 which says, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
Lord, I confess that my heart often feels restless and burdened by the cares and worries of life. But I thank you for the gift of your peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding and transcends the troubles of this world.
I surrender my anxieties and fears to you, and I ask that you would fill me with your peace. Help me to trust in your sovereignty and to find solace in your presence. May your peace guard my heart and mind, and may it bring tranquility to every aspect of my life.
In the midst of turmoil and uncertainty, I choose to fix my gaze upon you. I know that you are the source of true peace, and in you, I find rest for my weary soul. I invite your peace to dwell within me, guiding my thoughts, words, and actions.
I pray for peace in my relationships, peace in my circumstances, and peace in my innermost being. May your peace be a beacon of hope and a testimony of your faithfulness in my life.
Thank you, Lord, for your promise of peace. I surrender to you and trust that you will provide the peace that my soul longs for.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
